# Keyboard shortcuts

Navigation and common context-specific shortcuts, including list filters, timeline controls and Vault page actions.

Press `?`  anywhere for the in-app reference, including registered context-specific shortcuts for the screen you are on. Editor-specific shortcuts can depend on the focused control.

On Windows and Linux, read `⌘`  as `Ctrl` .

## Global

- Create issue: `c` 

- Open Spotlight: `⌘` `K` 

- Keyboard shortcuts: `?` 

- Toggle sidebar: `\` 

- Undo: `⌘` `Z` 

- Redo: `⌘` `⇧` `Z` 

## Navigation

Press `g` , then the second key.

- Board: `g` `k` 

- Backlog: `g` `b` 

- Timeline: `g` `t` 

- Projects: `g` `p` 

- Search: `g` `f` 

- Vault: `g` `v` 

- Settings: `g` `s` 

## Lists — Board, Backlog, My issues, Search

- Focus search: `s` 

- Focus filter input: `f` 

- Open filter panel: `f` `f` 

- Clear all filters: `r` 

On **Projects**, `s`  focuses search and `r`  clears filters. Where the shared filter bar is mounted, `⌘` `L`  also clears filters if the browser delivers that shortcut to the page; browsers can reserve it for the address bar.

## Timeline

- Previous period: `[` 

- Next period: `]` 

- Jump to today: `t` 

- Week view: `w` 

- Month view: `m` 

- Quarter view: `q` 

- Year view: `y` 

## Issue detail

- Previous issue: `[` 

- Next issue: `]` 

- Assign to me: `a` 

- Cycle priority: `p` 

- Edit labels: `l` 

- Close / go back: `Esc` 

## Vault

- New space (on Vault home): `n` 

- New page (in a space): `n` 

- Toggle page version history: `h` 

- Rename page (with edit access): `r` 

- Change page icon (with edit access): `i` 

- Export open Vault page as Markdown: `e` 

- Toggle grid / list view: `v` 

## The three to learn first

If you learn nothing else: `c`  to create, `⌘` `K`  to go anywhere, `?`  when you forget the rest.

Shortcuts are not currently customisable.
